To ignite a passion for Jesus Christ that will propel children forward to grow with God and fulfill His plan.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH SUNDAYS 11AM
Heritage Kids is for children ages 4-12.
We start off in large group with praise and worship. Large group is also when we teach foundation truths in entertaining, engaging ways which allow children of all ages to retain the bottom line message. We break into small groups by age and gender to reinforce the Bible story and lesson objectives applicable to specific life and developmental stages. During small groups kids have an opportunity to ask questions, participate in games, make crafts, and build relationships with their peers and adult group leader. If you have children between the ages of 4 and 12, we would love to meet your family!

By the time the kids get to us they have been at school all day, many have been to after-school practices and activities. They need what most everyone needs by this time: a middle-of-the-week pick-me-up. Kids have a chance to bond with their church family through Bible-centered discussion, games, and arts/crafts activities. This is also a time when they may speak freely about what issues they are facing that week. The last half of church is praise, worship, and pray. This is how we rejuvenate. After a Wednesday evening service, children are ready to sail through the remainder of the week.
One of the most dynamic and life changing ministries at Heritage is our Nursery Ministry. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus says “let the little children come to me and not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” We believe the nursery is where the teaching and spiritual growth begins.
The nursery is for children ages 7 months to 3 years old. They are taught how to say the Lord’s Prayer, their own personal prayer, how to praise and worship, and give their own testimonies (2 & 3 yrs olds). Furthermore, they read the word of God (with assistance). Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it”. Your children in the nursery are taught early about the power of God. The days of operation are as follows:

We teach women to become W.O.W. ~ Women On the Word. A Woman On the Word is a victorious woman in Christ. Our goal is to help a woman succeed through the Word of God in every area of her life; be it with her children or in relationships.
To accomplish this, we offer classes to help her grow (i.e. life changing Bible studies such as Loving Your Husband, Building Better Relationships and more). We also offer mentoring courses like DIVA (Developing in Virtuous Ability) a course designed to help women understand the importance of holiness, modesty, purity and virtue. Women taking this course will develop awareness that God loves and values them and has a purpose for their lives. We also offer events such as women’s conferences, fellowships and retreats.
Through teaching, the Womens Ministry helps women apply the Word of God in their lives. It’s a ministry where lives are changed and women become a light for others to see and follow to Christ.
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24. for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in all he does.”
