Coronavirus Update

Heritage family,

As of 8 pm last night Governor Beshear ordered all “non-essential” retail businesses in Kentucky to close in-person traffic. Businesses that can remain open include grocery stores, pharmacies, liquor stores, auto repair stores, pet stores, and gas stations.

Last Sunday we shared a wonderful worship experience online. Attendance was great for both our 9 am and 11 am services on YouTube Premiere. Thanks for your “hello’s”, and “shout-outs” in the comments box! Tell those who may have missed it to join us this week.

We’re going to stay with the same format this Wednesday at 6: 30 pm for our mid-week service. Again, we will upload a previous message and share the experience together as a church family. This allows all of our staff and volunteers to stay in their homes. Sunday we will upload 2 different messages for the 9 am and the 11 am services. To join the services go to YouTube and enter heritageinternationalchristianchurch or follow the links on the heritage website, the app, and facebook.

Pray: We have changed our united prayer focus from 1@1 for Easter to praying for everyone to be safe, for the spreading the Gospel, and for deliverance from the  COVID-19 attack. In II Chronicles 7: 14 God says, "If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land."

We are in a spiritual battle. I am asking everyone to pray at 7:14 am and 7:14 pm according to II Chronicles 7:14. Let's believe for the virus, the fear, the sin, and the devastation of our nation to be halted. You can download a weekly prayer guide from the website. Please pray it and then spend some time in the presence of the Lord and see what else God gives you to pray, confess, or declare. We are going to do this twice a day until we see the effects of this coronavirus stopped. God is a healing God!

Jesus is Lord!
