What We Believe
God is a good God. He does not cause sickness, natural disasters, poverty, or premature death. The laws of God produce life, healing, abundance, and love.
God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Restorer of all creation. He has manifested Himself to humanity through his Son, Jesus Christ, as one God, existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1: 1; Psalm 118: 1; John 10: 30; John 14: 9; John 16: 13 – 15; Matthew 28: 18, 19)
God reveals His will for mankind through the Bible. The Bible is the inspired Word of God through which God blesses and prospers humanity. It is the product of holy men who spoke and wrote as they were commanded by the Holy Spirit. (II Timothy 3:16; I Thessalonians 2:3; II Peter 1:21)
The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. According to the New Testament of the Bible, marriage is a God-ordained covenant relationship between one man and one woman.
Fornication, adultery, homosexuality and other sexual perversions are inconsistent with Christian service and lifestyle. (II Timothy 3: 16)
People are made in the image of God, to be like Him in character, and to reign under His authority. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of rebellion and disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separates people
Demons and Devils
Satan is the father of rebellion and disloyalty. All sickness, poverty, and suffering came into the earth in “The Garden”, through the rebellion which originated with Satan. (Genesis 3: 1 – 19; John 10: 10; Revelation 12: 7 – 9; Acts 10: 38)
Through Jesus Christ, God offers every human being salvation which involves receiving God’s nature, instant pardon for all sins, redemption from the curse, reunion with the Family of God, the development of an attitude of obedience and love toward God, cooperating with God to bring His Kingdom and blessings to our world, and going to Heaven when we leave the earth. (Matthew 28: 18 – 20; Mark 16: 15 – 18)
God has appointed His Son Jesus Christ as King and Judge over all the earth. (Matthew 28: 18; Philippians 2: 8 – 11; Psalm 2: 6 – 8; Acts 13: 29 – 33)
Jesus is reigning now as Ruler over the earth and will continue to do so until He has brought His enemies under subjection. (Acts 2: 30 – 36; I Corinthians 15: 24 – 28; Hebrews 10: 12, 13)
Every person and nation owes allegiance to the Lord Jesus Christ. He offers salvation to everyone who decides to trust and follow him. (Hebrews 13: 8; Matthew 28: 18; Philippians 2: 9 – 11; Romans 10: 9, 10; John 14: 6)
Jesus Christ is working miracles through His followers today. He is leading believers into victory over demonic spirits on the earth. Mark 16: 19, 20; John 14: 12 – 14)
Jesus Christ is baptizing His followers in the Holy Spirit so they can receive empowerment and provision, praying in God-given supernatural languages. (Mark 1: 8; Matthew 3: 11; Luke 3: 16; Luke 24: 46 – 49; John 16: 7 – 15; John 14: 12 – 20; I Corinthians 2: 9 – 12; Luke 11: 9 – 13; Acts 2: 1 – 4; Acts 10: 44 -48; Acts 19: 1 – 7; Acts 8: 14 – 20; Jude 20; I Corinthians 14: 2,3, 14, 15 – 18)
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the invisible Presence and power of the Lord who manifests Himself among Christ’s followers, to help us love and obey God, and help us destroy the works of Satan in the earth. (Matthew 12: 28; John 14: 16 – 17; John 16: 7 – 14; Luke 4: 18, 19)
The Church is God’s family. Our first ministry is to God, therefore we worship with extravagant joy & gratitude. Our personal relationship with Him is our number one priority.
Every believer is a supernatural minister of the gospel of power whom signs & wonders should follow. All ministry flows from the prayer, "Thy kingdom come... on earth as it is in heaven." We equip and send the church to carry on the works of Jesus.
We demonstrate God's grace, His unconditional love & transforming power, to everyone.
We impact every socioeconomic group & cultural realm that mercy & justice would reign because we pastor a city, not just a church. (Matthew 16: 18; John 14: 12; Matthew 28: 18 – 20; Mark 16: 15 – 18; Ephesians 11 – 16; Ephesians 2: 19 – 22)
“Christ loves us, and by His death and resurrection He has freed us from our sins and made us a kingdom of priests to serve God”. Every Christian is to be a disciple, working in the church to help others get saved and become disciples of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 1: 6; I Peter 2: 9)
Christians practice tithing, (giving the first 10% of whatever income we receive) to support the church, the body of Christ, as God's Word commands. We recognize that tithing is the biblical foundation of supporting the work of the Lord. Everything over 10% is an "offering of gratitude" for the great things God does for us every day. A tithe of everything a person receives belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord. The offering is a privilege to give and is in addition to the tithe.
Spiritual growth is a balance between growing in faith and growing in love. Faith comes as we hear and act on the teaching and preaching of God’s Word. Love grows as we participate in the local church together. (Romans 10: 17; Luke 5: 15; I Peter 2: 2; Hebrews 10: 24, 25; James 2: 2 – 4; John 13: 35)
All human beings are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. All nations, individuals and human institutions are commanded by God to repent and give their allegiance to the Lord Jesus Christ, thereby accepting His merciful salvation before it is too late.
All mankind will stand before the Lord for the final judgment, those that have accepted salvation will receive eternal fellowship with God. Those who have not will receive eternal punishment in Hell. (Psalm 9: 17; Matthew 11: 23, 24; Revelation 5:1-10, Revelation 21, 22)
Humanity will subdue evil and end human suffering through the spiritual warfare being waged by the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church, against the devil. (Genesis 3: 15; Matthew 16: 18, 19; Matthew 22: 44; Romans 16: 20; I John 3: 8)
Once the Church has subdued evil, God will take all believers out of the earth, allowing plagues and curses to come upon all those who have continued to reject God’s love.
(I Thessalonians 4: 16 – 17; Revelation 14: 14 – 19; Matthew 13: 24 – 30)
Once the time of judgments and plagues is completed, then the devil, (and all who followed his rebellion against God), will finally be locked in Hell for eternity. And the Lord Jesus Christ will return with all His followers to reign on the new earth. God’s Kingdom – heaven and earth – will be eternally reunited in Love. (Ephesians 1: 10; I Corinthians 15: 28; Revelation 21: 1 – 7; Revelation 22: 1 – 5; II Peter 3: 13)
